The coffee tastes mild rather than bitter. It’s a creamy sweet milk coffee ice cream.

Châteraisé Premium Kyoto Uji Matcha

Made with premium first-flush matcha grown in Kyoto, this ice cream has a wonderful balance of rich milk and authentic matcha flavor.

Ingredients: Concentrated skim milk (made from Hokkaido milk), cream, starch syrup, sugar, egg yolk, matcha.

The bitterness and the sweetness is super well balanced. It’s amazing that it’s only around ¥180 per cup.

Fresh Milk Cup

Ingredients: Starch syrup, dairy products, fresh milk, sugar, high-fructose syrup, dairy-based ingredients, starch, milk calcium, glutinous rice flour, agar, glucomannan.

This ice cream is classified as Ice Milk, and compared with the other ice creams introduced in this article, it’s a slightly less natural option.
Its main ingredient is starch syrup and it also contains high-fructose syrup, a processed sweetener.

That said, it still contains no artificial emulsifiers or stabilizers, making it a much simpler choice than many other store-bought ice creams.
